The 'Rope' has spreader bars made of luxury Shorea wood (100% FSC) and fits into any Tropilex XXL hammock stand.
Strong and comfortable
The many openings of a knotted hammock offer plenty of ventilation. That feels much cooler than a woven hammock. The perforated cloth of the 'Rope' hammock is not knotted, but woven. The fabric therefore feels fine, even on bare skin.
The 'Rope' is especially strong. Firstly, because the hammock is woven with thick cords instead of hundreds of thin threads. In addition, Tropilex does not use 1 rope, but 2 ropes to weave the cloth. That offers 40% more sturdiness than comparable hammocks!
Durable hammock made from recycled material
The 'Rope' hammock is produced in a sustainable way. The polyester used for the cords comes from recycled plastic bottles. This reuse of plastic is extra valuable because the hammocks are produced in a country with a huge waste problem: India.
Of course, this sustainable production does not take place at the expense of comfort or quality! Thanks to a unique weaving technique, the 'Rope' feels very pleasant. The material is even softer than cotton.

The minimum suspension length and height is stated in the specifications. The hammock then hangs about 40 to 50 centimetres above the ground. With an extra rope you can bridge a greater distance.
If you use an extra rope, you must also hang the hammock higher. With every centimetre of extra rope you also have to hang the hammock one centimetre higher.

The minimum suspension height is stated in the specifications. With a rope or a chain you can easily hang the hanging chair higher.
You can hang a hanging chair about 40 to 50 centimetres above the ground. You can then get in and out the easiest way.
Washing instructions
Hammocks & hanging chairs can be safely washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Do not wash in combination with other laundry because the colours can stain other laundry. Then hang the hammock or hanging chair out to dry.
Hammocks with spreader bars should be hand-washed as the spreader bar cannot be removed.
