For making this Gigante hammock the Amazonas processed almost 6000 cotton threads into 6 square meters of extra tightly woven in order to unfold optimally. This created a perfect connection between those two suspension points of the hammock.

The recycled cotton usage leads to significant savings of natural resources, less water and energy consumption. Even if it is a recycled fabric, the quality remains the same as using regular cotton.

Choosing a handmade hammock made from recycled materials you are hopefully doing some good in a sustainable way.

Brazilian lying technique

Choose to relax in the hammock using the Brazilian technique: lie in it diagonally rather than lengthways (“from corner to corner”) – it will keep your back straight.

The Gigante Lava hammock can be hung up or removed in no time. When you are not using the hammock we recommend to store it in its matching bag – you will receive it for FREE when purchasing this hammock.
